Michael Matey and his father, Ron, started serving the valleys premier gourmet cheesesteaks over 25 years ago. They began making their mouth-watering dishes based on recipes created by Margaret Matey, Ron's grandmother, in the 1950s. What started as a small 12 item menu has grown and changed tremendously to suit the needs of today's family diners.
Today, Matey's menu includes over 20 varieties of cheesesteaks, from beef or chicken to buffalo style and vegetarian and everything in between.
The menu also features 15 varieties of pizza, fresh salads, burgers, and milkshakes. Including gluten free pizza.
